March 25, 1968
A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was
held in its office on Monday, March 25, 1968. The meeting
was called to order At 7:30 by Chairman Mrs. Riffin with all
members present.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously
voted to disapprove the definitive subdivision plan of Denver DENVER ST.
Street entitled "Lexington Farms in Lexington, Mass.", dated
February 12, 1968 by A. A. Miller and W. -C. Nylander, for the
following reasons:
1. The applicant had failed to comply with the requirements of
General Laws Chapter 41, Section 81-U and had not submitted
a copy of the plan to the Board of Health.
2. The applicant had failed to submit a topographic or contour
plan,as required by the Planning Board Rules and Regulations
governing subdivision of land in Lexington, Mass., Sec.5.1.d.
3. The applicant had failed to indicate adequate provision for
the drainage of the land shown on the subdivision plan. In
the opinion of the Planning Board, public health and safety
' would be endangered by the approval of this plan without
proper drainage provisions. See Sections 6.6 and 7.5 of the
Rules and Regulations of the Planning Board.
4. The applicant has failed to obtain the rights and easements
over the land of others necessary for the installation of the
required utilities.
The members then adjourned to Cary Hall to attend the
Annual Town Meeting.
