IMay 8, 1967
A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board
was held on Monday, May 8, 1967 in its office, Town Office
Building. The meeting was called to order by Vice-chairman
Riffin at 7:30 p.m. with members Fowle, Lund and Worrell,
and Planning Director Zaleski present.
Minutes of the meeting of May 1, 1967 were approved. MINUTES
The plan submitted with Form A, as follows, was re-
viewed by the Board and endorsed as not requiring approval FORM A
under the Subdivision Control Law:
667-10, submitted May 5, 1967 by Robert L. Higgins,
Asst. Town Engineer; plan entitled "Plan of Lots lA Town of

The Board next voted to go into executive session to
discuss matters the.premature.disclosure.of which may affect
the financial interests of the Town. Following a discussion
of future zoning, including a review of preliminary pro-
posals by Mr. George Johnson of Metcalf and Eddy, the Board
voted to resume open meeting.
Messrs. Van Buren, Wiederhold and Dr. Barrett met

meeting at about 9:00 p.m.
Board of Appeals notices of hearings to be heard on
May 23, 1967, as follows, were read and noted:

It was decided to recommend 'that the location, size
and layout of nursery home, parking, etc. be shown in time

Selectmen Cataldo met with the Board to discuss in
executive session matters the premature disclosure of which
adversely affect financial interests of the town. Following

a discussion of Worthen Rd. the Board voted to resume open
meeting.
It was decided to ask Mr. Cataldo for an option for
a strip of land which would permit the extension of Emerson
Rd. easterly beyond Bryant Rd.
Draft of news release on proposed zoning changes
was distributed to members of the Board. It was decided
that the Board members would review the draft and communicate
their comments to Mr. Zaleski on Tuesday, May 9, to permit
publication on May 11.
A,letter from Mr. Lidberg relative to Emerson Rd.
was read and noted.
Minutes of Selectmen's meeting of April 26 were
noted and placed on file.
The meeting adjourned at 11:25p:m.
