HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-11-02PLANNING BOARD MEETING I November 2, 1964 A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was held in its office, Town Office Building, on November 2, 1964. The meeting was called to order by chairman Meyer at 8:00 p.m. with members Campbell, Greeley and Riffin, and planning dir- ector Zaleski present. Minutes of meeting of October 26, 1964 were read and MINUTES approved by a unanimous vote. Reviewed were the following Form A applications which had been submitted for determination of Planning Board juris- FORMS A diction: #64-56, submitted Oct. 30, 1964 by Edward F. Cataldo, Stephen T. Russian, Atty.; plan entitled nA Compiled Cataldo Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", scale: 1" = 1001, dated Oct. 28, 1964, Miller & Nylander, C.E.'s & Sur- veyors. #64-57, submitted October 30, 1964 by Arthur J. Thyng; plan entitled '}Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", 'Thyng scale: 171 = 401, dated Oct. 28, 1964, Miller & Nylander, C.E.'s & Surveyors. The plan accompanying Form A #64-56 was returned for further review by the Planning Director. After consideration, upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED: that the plan accompanying Form A #64-57 does not require approval under the subdivision control law and that said plan be so endorsed. The plan was then endorsed. Draft of letter to Board of Appeals, dated Oct. 28, 1964 re: Mark Moore petition to build a duplex at Larch- mont Lane and Bedford St. was reviewed and approved. It was decided to hold a public hearing on Jackson Estates (Hancock St.) subdivision on Thursday, Nov. 19, 1964 at 7:30 p.m. Revision of Minute Man Highlands, Section IV subdi- vision was discussed and it was decided to hold a public hearing on December 14, 1964, after consulting with the Town Counsel to ensure that the original subdivision plan is in order. BOARD OF APPEALS LARCHMONT LANE - MOORE JACKSON ESTATES HEARING MINUTE MAN HIGH- LANDS, SEC.4 CARRIG 11-2-64 -2- Letter from N.P.A.C. relative to North West Area N.P.A.C. Transportation Committee meeting on November 5, 1964, was read and discussed. It was decided that Mr. Greeley and Mr. Zaleski would attend the meeting. Minutes of Selectmen's meeting of Oct. 19, 1964 were read and placed on file. THE GROVE Letter from the Greener & Whiter Trusts relative to release of lots in The Grove subdivision (Emerson Rd.) was read and re - GREENER & WHITER ferred to planning director for review. "Planning Board Highlights« were read and approved with a "HIGHLIGHTS" change of wording relative to the purpose of amendment of Sec. 5 (a) 7 of the Zoning By -Law. The proofs for the reprinting of the Zoning By -Law were reviewed and discussed. The minutes of the meeting of Oct. 19, 1964 were dis- LIDBERG cussed and it was unanimously voted to amplify the wording relative to the acquisition of Lidberg land at Adams St. for Emerson Rd. BUDGET Planning Board budget for 1965 was discussed next and planning director's estimates tentative approved. Plan of land on Freemont St. submitted with Form A by Joseph Moore, Inc. was referred to the planning director for review. The plan is to be acted upon at the next meeting. Letter and plan for the proposed layout of Emerson Rd. at EMERSON RD. Adams St. were delivered to the Board by the Town Engineer. Dis- cussion of this matter to be taken up upon the receipt of the proposed profile for this section of Emerson Rd. next week. Meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. USS4.t (86 `�4t Roland B. Greeley Clerk 1
