noted.
Letter from Mr. Irving Mabee, dated August 112 1964,
' re: Center Playground, was read and discussed. It was the
concensus that Middleby Rd. should be a town way between
Lincoln St. and Outlook Dr. and that its exact alignment is
a matter for the town engineer. The "service road" should
not be open to public traffic and therefore the location of
intersection opposite Middleby Rd. would serve no purpose.
Mr. Zaleski will communicate the Board's feelings to Mr.
Mabee.
Mr. Zaleski reported that a meeting is scheduled with
E.D.A. by the selectmen regarding the survey for the revital-
ization of the downtown business district and asked if the
board wished him to adopt any specific position in the matter.
It was the opinion of the board that they could not take a
specific position at this stage, but would cooperate on any
reasonable program.

Hagedorn, dated Aug. 19, 1964, and accompanied by two charts
