of Section 81-U, Chapter 41 of General Laws.
Mr. Zaleski reported that Rosins, Buss, wished to sub- .
divide her land between Lincoln St. and Barrymeade Dr. and LINCOLN ST. -
that a small triangle of land between the Barrymeade Dr. BARRMWADE DR.
turnaround and Buss, property line was bought by residents of -
Barrymeade Dr., thus precluding a connection of the proposed ROSINA BUSA
street to Barrymeade Dr. It was the opinion of the board
that such connection would provide for the best location of
street in the new subdivision and Mr. Zaleski was requested
to inquire of the town counsel whether the triangular parcel
of land was ever laid out and dedicated as street.
A preliminary sketch of Battleview Park subdivision,
dated June 1964, by John J. Sullivan, was reviewed next. It BATTLEVIEW
was noted that the land was originally divided into 25 ft. PARK -
wide lots in 1913, that a plan showing 25 ft. lots was en- RITCHIE
dorsed by the planning board as not requiring approval on
December 9, 1957, and registered in the Land Court, and that
the preliminary plan submitted by Mr. Ritchie shows 25 ft.
wide lots combined into 62.5 and 75 ft. wide lots. First
and Second St. are "paper streets." Mr. Zaleski was re-
quested to inquire of the town counsel whether the proposed
lots would be legal.
