Present were Chairman Soule, members Bryson, Grindle, Mabee and Mever, and Planning Director Snow. , The Board apnroved for payment the follow- ing bills which had been presented: Minute -man Pub- BILLS li.cations, Inc., advertising --X4.90• Samuel P. Snow, car allowance for September, 1961--20.00. Considered next were the following Form A annlications which had been submitted for determina- tion of Planning Board jurisdiction: #61-491 submitted Sent. 18, 1961 by Emilio V. Spagnuolo for Kingston Homes, Inc.; plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", scale: l" = 40', dated Sept. 161 1961s Mac- Carthv Engineering Service, Natick, Mass. #61-50, submitted September 25, 1961 by John J. Hammond, Trustee for Spring Street Trust; plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington Mass.", Scale: 1" = 40', dated Sept. 19,1961, Miller & Nylander, C.7. Is & Surveyors. #61-51, submitted September 251 1961 by Nora Ford, Attornev for Raytheon Company; plan en- titled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", Scale:l " = 401, dated Sept. 5, 1961, Miller & Nylander, C.F.'s & Surveyors. Upon motion duly made and seconded,'it was unanimously VOTF'D: that the Lexington Planning Board determines that the plans accompanying Porn A applica- tions #61-49, #61-50 and #61-51 do not re- quire approval under the Subdivision Control Law, and that said plans be so endorsed. FORMS A The remainder of the meeting was devoted to a discussion of the September 24, 1961 draft of sug- PROPOSED ' gested amendments to the Lexington Zoning By-law, in- ZONING cluding a conference with the Town Counsel and the AMENDMENTS Board of Selectmen in regard to the same. A copy of y-25-61 said draft was given to the Town Counsel for study and an advisory opinion. (See minutes of the Sept. 25s 1961 meeting of the Board of Selectmen.) The Selectmen gave to the Board a copv of a WORTHEN letter dated September 152 1961, from the State ROAD Department of Public Works to the Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, relative to the meeting held in said Department's office on May 31s 1961 relative to the Town of Lexington plans for the location of a portion of Worthen Road and a connection of said road to Mate Route 2. The Planning Board was asked to study proposed plan presented by the State Department and meet with the Board of Selectmen with a recommendation in regard to the plan prior to October 11. On this date the Selectmen had scheduled public hearings in regard to laying out portions of Worthen Road, Buckman Drive and Summit Road. The Planning Boa adjourned its meeting at 11:15 P.M.
