Present were Chairman Burnell, Members Mabee and Soule, and Planning Director Snow. The Board endorsed the Glen Estates defini- GLEN ESTATES tive subdivision plan, dated November 4, 1059. Emilio Snar'nuola since January 8, 1060, this Boord is pleased to know that Esco Builders Cornorotion is interested in discussing fur- ther the acquisition by Lexington of the remainder 4-20-60 -2- of said cornoration ' s land referred to in your letter. As you no doubt know, Esco Builders was given apnroval of its Hawthorne Acres subdivision plan on Jul— 30, l957 with the stinulation that the required improvements with- in the subdivision be comnleted within two Years. Upon completion of the required work, except for a small de- tail, Mr. Spagnuola met with this Board in October 26, 1050 to discuss for the first time the acquisition of the remaining land described. above. He was asked for a price for the land and discussed the same with the Board on Novem- ber 2nd and 23rd . The Board had the land appraised by two professional annraisers . On the basis of the information received from them the Board decided to make Mr. Spagnuola an offer and asked Mr. Snow, the Board ' s Planning Director, to discuss this offer and the Town ' s general n Tans with Mr . Snsc*nuola. It Is understood that they held a confer- ence at which time Mr. cpagnuola said he would take the Board ' s offer under consideration. Not havincr heard from Mr. Spagnuola, the Board would be nlrased to discuss the matter with You and suggests that you meet with the Board for this purpose at its meeting on May 9, 1060 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town Office Building here in Lexington . If this time is not convenient with you, please call the Planning Board office during the morning, Monday through Friday, end arrange for an appoint- ment which would be more convenient.
