of said cornoration's land referred to in ,your letter.
Asou no doubt know, rsco Builders was given approval
its its Hawthorne Acres subdivision plan on Jul -,7`30.s 1957
wits. the sti_nulation that the required improvements with—
in the subdivision be completed within two years. Upon
completion of the required work, except for a small de
tail, Mr. Spagnuola met with this Board in October 26,
1950 to discuss for the first time the acquisition of the
remaining land described. above. He was asked for a price
for the landand discussed the same with the Board on Novem-
ber 2nd and 23rd. The Board had the land appraised by two
professional anpraisers. On the basis of the information
received from them the Board decided to make Mr. Spagnuola
an of fer and asked Mr. Snow, the Board's Planning Director,
to discuss this offer and the Town's general o laps with
Mr. Spa(7nuola. It Is understood that thev held a confer-
ence at which time Mr. cpagnuola said he would take the
Board's offer under consideration.
Not havinm heard from Mr. Spagnuola, the Board would be
nleased to discuss the matter with rou and suggests that
you meet with the Board for this purpose at its meeting
on May 9, 1960 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town Office Building
here in Lexington. If this time is not convenient with
you, please call the Planning Board office during the
morning, Monday through Friday, and arrange for an appoint-
ment .which would be more convenient.
Sincerely .yours,
LEXINGTON PLANNING BOARD
