July 21, 1958
A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning
Board was held in the Planning Board Office, Town
Office Building, on Monday, July 21, 1958 at 7:50
p.m. Present were Chairman Grindle, Members Burnell,
Jaquith and Soule, and Planning Director Snow. Town
Counsel Stevens was Present from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The Board approved the following bills which
had been presented for payment: Graphic Reproduc- BILLS
tions, Inc., white r. is --X2.70; Foto Beam, Inc.,
drafting supplies --1.55; H.B.McArdle, storage cabi-
net -4 6.25; Terrence J. Boyle, professional ser-
vices, July 14 through 18, 1958-495.00; Bruce E.
Howlett, professional services -435.00.
Considered next were the petitions to be
heard by the Board of Appeals on July 291 1958. It BOARD OF

subdivision. Thereupon, a majority of the Board WYNWOOD
endorsed the various sheets of the definitive plan ASSOCIATES
of said subdivision, the plan having been pre-
viously approved by the Board and all other matters
appearing to be in order. (See minutes of July 1,
1958 Planning Board meeting.
Mr. Snow reported that Mr. Raymond F.
Boudreau had filed a performance bond and that all SUNNYKNOLL
other matters appeared to be in order in connection
with the Sunn7knoll d*finitive plan. Thereupon, BOUDREAU
upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unani-
mously
VOTED: That the definitive subdivision plan en-
titled "Sunnyknoll Lexington, Mass... dated
June 92 1958, which was submitted to the
Planning Board by Raymond F. Boudreau on
June 231 1958, accompanied by an applica-
tion for approval of definitive plan, Form
C, dated June 16, 1958 be and hereby is
approved.

The Board's attention was called to the fact
SUBDIVISION that there had been submitted the first application
CONTROL LAW for tentative apbroval of a preliminary subdivision
AMENDMENT plan since the effective date of a new amendment to
the Subdivision Control Law; namely, Chapter 2062
Acts of 1958. Before considering said application,
the Board held with Mr. Stevens a detailed discus-
sion of procedures and policies to be followed in
administering said amendment. Thereupon, Mr. Stevens
left the meeting.
The application of the Lexington Development
LOWELL ESTATES Co. for approval of the preliminary plan, entitled
"Lowell Estates", was then considered. Considered

COMPANY letter, the Board reviewed its earlier decision re-
garding the same plan previously entitled "Sun
Valley II" and submitted by the Winchester Develop-
ment Corp. on April 21, 1958. (See minutes of June
30, 1958 Planning Board meeting.) The Lexington
Development Co. plan and application were then taken
under advisement
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
