ADDENDUM
January 6,1958
Mr. Herbert L. Crowley Jr.
Sec . Hospital Needs Study Committee,
1 Bennington Road
Lexington 73, Mass.
Dear Mr. Crowley
As I stated in our recent conversation, the
Lexington Planning Board has not included a site for
a future hospital in its Master Plan. `1e believe we
should have more information before any recommenda-
tions for such a site can be made. nle have in mind
such matters as the following
1. Is the proposed hospital planned to serve
chiefly Lexington or is it to cover a
region of towns in this locality and if so,
what areas ?
2. What size site is desired?
3 . Has your committee any preference in type
of land to be selected; i .e. , do you prefer
level land or a site that is both level and
hilly?
The Planning Board wishes to assist your Com-
mittee in any way possible Kindly let us know if we
can be of further assistance.
Yours sincerely,
