November 12, 1957
A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning
Board was held in the Town Engineer's Room, Town
Office Building, on Tuesday, November 12, 1957 at
7 40 p.m. Present were Chairman Grindle, Members
Abbott , Jaquith and Soule and Planning Director Snow.
Taken under consideration were the follow- FORMS A
ing Form A applications for determination of Planning
Board jurisdiction
#57-90, submitted on November 6, 1957 by Paul
Marashio, plan entitled "Compiled Plan of
Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated May 25, 1957,
Robert L. Higgins, Surveyor, Lexington,Mass.
#57-94, submitted on October 29, 1957 by Paul
J. McCormack for James M. Etter; plan entitled
"A Compiled Plan of Land in Lexington-Mass.",
dated Oct. 21, 1957, Miller & Nylander, C.E. 's
and Surveyors, Lexington, Mass.
It was moved, seconded and unanimously
VOTED that the plans accompanying applica-
tions #57-90 and #57-94 be signed
bearing the endorsement, "Lexington
Planning Board approval under Subdivi-
sion Control Law not required. "
The Board authorized Mr. Snow to order from MAP FILE
the Allen Stationery Co. of Cambridge a 5-drawer plan
file unit with cap and flush base and to transfer the
Board's existing file to the Building Department, said
Department to give the Planning Board credit in the sum
of $115.$0 towards the purchase of a larger size file
for use in connection for the preparation of maps for
the Master Plan.
Read to the Board was a November 8, 1957 HISTORIC
letter from the Boston National Historic Sites Com- SITES
mission confirming November 20, 1957 at 8:00 p.m. as COMMISSION
the date to meet in joint session with the Board of
Selectmen and the Planning Board to review plans of
the Commission for the Lexington-Concord Battle Road
of April 19, 1775 .
A general discussion was next held concern-
ing the current problems now before the Board.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 ..m.
