ber 1, 1956, at 7:30 p.m. Present were Chairman Hathaway, Messrs.
Adams, Burnell, Grindle, and Jaquith and the Planning Director
and the secretary.
The following bills were presented for payment: Bruce E.

x$92.24; H. B. McArdle, envelopes, $$1.25; Spaulding -Moss Co.,
printing page of Zoning By -haws, $11.85; Louise M. Baker, typing,

It was moved, seconded, and voted that the bills be paid
as presented.
The following Form A applications were taken under
consideration for determination of Planning Board jurisdiction:
Ii56-91, submitted on October 29, 1956 by Mark Moore,
Jr. for Moore Realty Trust; plan entitled "Land.'.in
Lexington, Mass.", Scale: 1 inch = 40 ft.,.dated Oct.
26, 1956, Fred A. Joyce, Surveyor, Belmont, Mass.
,756-92, submitted on October 31, 1956 by Virginia E.
Welch; plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington,
Mass.", Scale: 1 in. = 140 ft.., dated Oct. 3, 1956,
Fred A. Joyce, Surveyor, Belmont, Mass.
It was moved, seconded, and unanimously
VOTED: that the plans accompanying applications #56-91
and „`56-92 be signed bearing the endorsement
"Lexington Planning Board approval not required
under subdivision control law."
The Board examined the previously submitted plans. and
application for approval of the Oak Knoll, Section One sub-
division and the performance bond submitted November 1. In
regard to the former, it was decided to change to Parcel A
the land marked "lot 25" since it did not have the minimum
area required by -the Lexington Zoning By -Law. Questions were
raised in regard to the bond being in proper form, the appli-
cation being signed by individuals and the plans indicating
ownership by a trust. After considering the application, it
was moved, seconded, and unanimously
VOTED: that the definitive subdivision plan entitled
"Plan of Lots at Oak Knoll Section One Lex-
ington -Mass.", dated Aug. 13, 1956, which was

submitted to the Board by Kenneth F.
Blodgett and Ernest E. Outhet on Septem-
ber 17, 1956 accompanied by an applica-
tion for approval of definitive plan Form
C, dated Sept. 4, 1956, be and hereby is
disapproved for the reasons that a bond in
proper form has not been submitted and the
applicants appear not to be the present
owners of the land.
Considered next by the Board was the Hancock
Heights, Sec. 2 subdivision plan. In regard to said
plan, the following matters were discussed: the length
of the dead-end street, the future difficulty of ex-
tending Linmoor Terrace through a permanent turnaround
to Ballard Terrace and Crawford Road, VY. Taisey's pur-
chase of property in Groton and the possible sale of his
land on Crawford Terrace to Mr. Moore, the construction
and design of the permanent turnaround with its excessive
fill and possible surface drainage problems. After these
matters were discussed it was moved, seconded, and
unanimously
VOTED: that the definitive subdivision plan en-
titled "Section 172 'Hancock Heights' Lex-
ington,.Mass.", dated Sept. 14, 1956,
which was submitted to the Board by Moore
Realty Trust on October 1, 1956, accompan-
ied by an application for approval of
definitive plan, Farm C, dated September
14, 1956, be and hereby is disapproved for
the reasons that the proposed extension of
Linmoor Terrace would make it a dead end
street in excess of 500 feet and that the
proposed permanent turnaround is deemed to
be undesirable in that it prevents a latter
extension of said Linmoor Terrace.
