HomeMy WebLinkAbout1955-05-02 PLANNING BOARD MEETING Monday, May 2, 1955 Present: Adams - Abbott, Grindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Jaquith - Snow Meeting opened at 7:30 o'clock. Record of April 25 approved. Leeland Construction Co. On motion of Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Hathaway, it was unanimously VOTED: that the definitive subdivision plan entitled "Section II, Robinson Hill, Lexington, Mass. owned by Lseland Construc- tion Co., Inc. Camelia Place, Lexington dated March 2, 1955 which was submitted to the Board by Zeeland Construction Co., Inc. March 17, 1955 accompanied by an application for approval of definitive plan Form C dated March 14, 1955, be and hereby is approved. Friel It was moved by Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Abbott and unanimously VOTED: that tentative approval be given of preliminary plan of proposed Ledgelawn Avenue subject to the acquisition of title to all the land as shown in the plan composing the proposed Ledgelawn Ave. Moore Realty Trust Form C submitted May 2, 1955 by Moore Realty Trust, Mark Moore Trustee, efinitive approval, plan of land in Lexington, dated April 1, 1955, Fred A. Joyce, Surveyor. Moved by Mr. Abbott, seconded by Mr. Irwin and unanimously VOTED: that date for public hearing on above plan be held on Mon- day, May 23, 1955 at 7:30 o'clock, Town Engineer's office. Anastasy Form B submitted by Mr. Anastasy. It was moved by Mr. Grindle, seconded by Mr. Hathaway and unanimously VOTED: that the preliminary subdivision plan of Anastasy, dated Oct. 15, 1954 , resubmitted April 27, 1955 together with an application for tentative approval dated April 25, 1955 be approved subject to the modifications noted on the plan. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 to Selectmen's office for discussion re: M-1 change in zone. Moved by Mr. Irvin, seconded by Mr. Jaquith and unanimously VOTED: that above plans be signed bearing the endorsement "Lexington Planning Board approval not required under Subdivision Con- trol Law." Bills Foto Beam, Inc., office supplies, $3.16; Spaulding Moss Co., 70" x 80" topographical map of the town $11.2.50; Adams Press, legal advertising, $8.75; Samuel Snow, office supplies) $5.57. Unanimously voted the bills be paid. _ Mr. Grindle brought up the matter of beginning the work on the master plan for Lexington. After some discussion it was decided that every other meeting beginning Monday, May 9, will be a closed meeting at which time the Planning Board will devote the entire meeting to planning matters.
