Present: Adams - Abbott, brindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Jaquith - Snow, Stevens
Meeting opened at 7:30 o'clock. The records of March 17, 23 and
April 18 were approved.

Moved by Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Hathaway, and unanimously
VOTED: that above plans be signed bearing the endorsement "Approval
of Lexington Planning Board not required under Subdivision
Control Law."
Due to a conflict in dates, the date for hearing onpetition of Dr.
Leonard Short for change in zone from an R-1 to a C.1 district was changed
from May 9 to May 16 at 8 o'clock in Estabrook Hail.

The to nd and all forms being in order, it was moved by Mr. Irwin,
seconded by Mr. Hathaway and
VOTED: plan submitted for oval as a subdivision Zeeland
approval by
Construction Co., known as Section II, Robinson Hill for
public hearing was held on Monday, Aprill 11, 1955,
be approved.
Spagnuola
Plan of land of Lidberg property situated between Adams St. and
land of Pihl was submitted far tentative subdivision approval. Present
were three Messrs. Spagnuola; Mr. Jones, Mr. Sargent, Mr. Lidberg, and Mr.
Cunningham, Atty. The petitioner was told that the area would have to be
served by a sewer running approximately parallel to the existing trunk
line, which maybe entered at only one or two locations. Also the entire
overall picture of that area will have to be studied by the Board before
approval of preliminary plan can be given, since there is a large area in-
volved which includes plans for other subdivisions.
Spinelli
Mr. Spinelli present re: his plans of Gary Estate. Be was told that
it was the feeling of the Board that it probably would go along with his re-
quest for not finishing the road in its entirety, but if the road is not to
be finished it should be shown on the plan as an easement instead of a road;
also that a drain should be built Within this easement or another to an
existing brook or a Barrett Road drain. It was felt that the plans were not
complete as shown and Mr. Spinelli was asked to complete them showing all
details after having first talked with Br. Burns as to Town specifications.
Br. Friel present for discussion re: Ledgelawn Ave. which he wishes
to extend so that the two portions will be connected. There is a small
piece of land involved which he does not own and he was advised to consult
his lawyer as to proper procedure for obtaining this parcel.
Zone -Waltbem
Notice was read of a hearing to be held on Wednesday, May 4, at 8
p.m. in Waltham on request for a change of zone to Business B use of laud
abutting Lexington and on Smith Street. It was felt by the Board that this
is isolated zoning which does not fit into the overall zoning pattern of
Waltham, It was moved by Mr. Hathaway, seconded by Mr. Grindle and
VOTED: that a letter be drawn up protesting this change, same to be
presented at the Planning Board.meeting next Monday, for
approval.
Anastasy
Mr. Watson and Hr. Anastasy present with subdivision plan dated
Oct. 15 1954, Nicola Anastasy, land off Grove St., scale 1" - 401, William
J. Ford Jr., C.E. A letter was submitted by Br. Watson which shows agree-
ment with Techbuilt, Inc. for 10t drainage easement on Techbuilt property.
They were told that a new Form B.must be submitted, also that the Board
wishes to look at the plan in relation to the entire axe a, which involves
plans of Techbuilt also.
