Smith Mr. George E. Smith was present with plans for a newspaper distri- bution building and carpenter shop to be built on his land in the rear of M & L Realty Co. property on Massachusetts Ave. Mr. Smith's land is within the proposed Waltham St.-Mazzey St. municipal parking area. After trying various locations for the proposed building it was found that none could be used to advantage without obstructing the municipal parking area plans, and therefore Mr. Smith was told that the situation looked as if it came down to either his selling the parcel of land needed for the parking area to the Town, or the Town taking the land by eminent domain. Mr. Smith is to be informed to this effect. Mr. Stevens later stated that there is nothing to prevent Mr. Smith from going ahead and building at his own risk and that Mr. Smith knows about the parking area proposal and so there is no guarantee that he will get his money back on the building should he construct it. Mr. Stevens further stated that he would try and get an appraiser before the next meeting on ' Monday. Leeland Construction Co. kir. Norman May, Dr. Arthur Huge, and Mr. Richard Childerhose were present for further discussion re: plan of Mr. MoConchie for Robinson Mill, Section II. They feel that this area is being developed bit by bit and it soon will be too late to do anything further about access. Mr. May stated that he believed it would be to the advantage of the builder to have another entrance, and that he thought the plan should,bQ turned down flatly. Mr. Adams stated that the Board felt that inasmuch as the plan for development as presented conformed to all subdivision rules and regulations there was not much that could be done about it except to approve. However it was felt that Mr. McConchie could be invited to meet with the Board for discussion and that it could be suggested that he look around for another entrance before bringing in further plans extending the Robinson Hill de- velopment. Mr. McConchie is to be asked to have his bond filed by the next meeting. Spinelli Mr. Spinelli appeared re: his plans of Cary Estate for Board to ex- amine.
