Unanimously voted the bills be paid, Since it was necessary for Mr. Adams and Mr. Abbott to leave to attend the town meeting, Mr. Irwin was elected to serve as Chairman pro tea and Mr. Hathaway as clerk pro tem. Hearing - Leeland Construction Co, A public hearing was held at 8:00 o'clock relative to the applica- tion for approval as a subdivision property -of Leeland Construction Co,, Inc, known as Section II, Robinson Rill, Approximately 25 citizens were present. A letter was read from Mr. Pierre Northrop advising the Planning Board that Diana Lane was under litigation. There was no objection to the development as such; however discussion was bald relative to exits and en- trances. There were objections to Diana Lane being the only entrance to the land on Robinson Hill which would probably be developed eventually and it was felt that the Planning Board should take this into consideration as an over-all plan for the future. If the streets are built as now laid out it will be difficult to make future changes. There were also objections to Hastings Road running directly across Massachusetts avenue for it was feared this would encourage speeding. It was felt that if the break was ' made somewhat beyond the present Hastings Road it would tend to slow up traffic somewhat. Also Mr. Ceriello of Cedar -St, objects to opening on Cedar St,, as it would increase traffic from Cedar through his land from the golf course for those wishing to go to Mass.
