Meeting opened at 7:45 o'clock.

Bill presented by Allen Benjamin, professional services Oct. 29
and Nov. 3, $35.00. Unanimously voted the bill be paid.
Form A presented by Earl and Julia Chapman, "A compiled 'plan of land in
niton, Mass." off Lowell St., plan dated Nov. 20, 1954, Miller & Ny-
lander, C.E.s. Moved by Mr. Hathaway, seconded by Mr. Grindle and unan-
imously voted the plan be signed- bearing endorsement "Lexington Planning
Board approval not required under subdivision control law."
Mr. Adams reported he had by request attended a Recreation Com-
mittee Meeting held December 2 at which about 40 residents from Robinson
Road were present to request a play area in the proposed development of
Tech-Built Homes. This will be considered in the over-all plan.
Also reported a permit had been received by Ridge Construction
Co. from the State granting entrance of road to Route 2.
Budget
The need for part-time clerical worker discussed and decided to
bring this up before the Board of Selectmen with the suggestion that this
work might possibly be combined with Board of Appeals.
Mr. Snow stated ha would go along with salary of $7000 for year
beginning April 1st, 1955.
Parking
Informal discussion was held on-pre-posed parking area between h al-
tlm and Muzzey streets. Flans of 1939, 1940 and 1944 were reviewed and
Mr. Snow presented a new sketch showing rectangular area in rear of Visite
Block, Savings Bank, Hunt Block, Matheson property, George Smith and Dr.
Hunt properties. This can later be extended toward Forest st. if neces-
sary.
Meeting adjourned at 10:35 for informal discussion with the Board
of Selectmen.
