HomeMy WebLinkAbout1954-08-30 PLANNING BOARD MEETING Monday, August 30,1954 Present: Adams, Grindle, Irwin, Ripley, Stevens. Meeting opened at 8 o'clock. Form A. Mr. Tropeano as attorney for George Knox submitted Form A dated 1177-50 and plan of land on Shade St. This land if subdivided as shown will not leave required area and it is Mr. Stevens' opinion it is a matter for Board of Appeals. Mr. Stevens to contact Mr. Tropeano. Mr. Snow Mr. Samuel P. Snow present, also Mr. Burns and Mr. Stevens. Mr. Adams briefly explained the procedures and set-up of Town. Mr. Stevens and Mr. Burns also explained a few details. It is Mr. Stevens' suggestion that all applications be cleared through Mr. Snow so that the Board might have full story when it meets. Suggests he becomes thoroughly familiar with Rules and Regulations. Most of detail will came through Mr. Burns, and will also work with Mr. Benjamin and Mr. Jaquith who is now making up forms. An immediate problem is more parking in Center. Mr. Snow was given copies of Zoning By-laws of 1946 and 1950; also Building By-laws and copy of Rules and Regulations. Colonial Acres Form C dated August 30, maps and fee submitted by Mr. Capalrai for Colonial Acres on extension of Dane Road. On motion of Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Grindle, it was voted that date for public hearing be set for Monday, September 13, at 8 o'clock. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 o'clock. 4D Ddhald K.
