Present: Adams, Grindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Jaquith, Ripley
Meeting opened at 7:50 o'clock.
Bill
Bill presented by Louise M. Braker, secretarial service June 1, 7,
14, 21 and 28 ® $5; 1 box onionskin, $2.25; extra secretarial service,
letters re: applications, $2.75; total $30.00. Unanimously voted the bill
be paid.
Letter read from Mr. Alfred Edwards, Committee on Legislation re:
decision recently made in favor of petitioner who claimed private roads
could be built upon as frontage streets and urging that the Planning Board
get together some data showing this would be detrimental to the town of
Lexington if done here. Turned over to W. Jaquith for study.
Tocci-Belotti
Plan showing lots 53-54 on Bowman St.axd Concord Turnpike sub-
mitted with Form A by Edward C. Tocci and Viola J. Belotti. Moved by
Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Grin le and unanimously
VOTED: that the above plan be signed with endorsement "Planning
Board approval not required under subdivision control law."
Peacock Farms
Mr. Dick Kasai presented Form C and D for definitive approval of
Section 3, Peacock Farms, Trotting Horse Drive. All requirements having
been fulfilled, on motion of Mr. Grindl.e, seconded by Mr. Irwin date for
hearing was set for Monday, July 12, Town Engineer's office at 6 o'clock.
Carrig
Mr. James Carrig and Mr. Robert Carrig present for informal discus-
sion re: by-pass road. Mr. Adams explained the Board's idea of having a
parkway and some open area around the road, especially on the approach. Mr.
Carrig is agreeable to selling part of it but does not wish to sell entire
piece. Would like a layout of the road for his engineer so that he might
work something out.
MoConchie
On motion of Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Grindle and so voted, the
preliminary plan showing proposed subdivision of land on Robinson Hill dated
June 28, 1954, owned by Leeland Construction Co. was tentatively approved.

Ampola
On plan of proposed land located in Lexington on Graham Road and
Burlington St. dated June 28, 1554 belonging. to Rose Ampola submitted with
application on Form A, it was moved by Mr. Hathaway, seconded by Mr. Grindle
and voted that the plan be endorsed "approval of Lexington Planning Board not
required under subdivision control law - but see agreement with Town. of Lex-
ington as to construction of proposed street recorded in Middlesex South.Dis-
trict, Registry of Deeds, Book 8329, p. 350."
Application on Form A submitted by Robert S. Lyon of 55 Waltham St.
to divide lot 168 on Middle St. into lots 168 A and 168 B, these lots going
to adjoining abuttors. Mr. Ripley moved, Mr. Grindle seconded that the plan
be endorsed "Planning Board approval not required under subdivision control
law." So voted.
Meeting adjourned at 10:1O o'clock.
