PLANNING BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, June 1,1954
Present: Adams, Grindle, Jaquith, Hathaway, Ripley - Burns, Stevens.
Meeting opened at 7:45 o'clock.
Mr. Jaquith reported informally that on hearings of Board of
Appeals held May 27, Mr. Linehan proposed to remove ridge, save poor
gravel and use it to fill hole, leaving the area graded level when com-
pleted. Lexington Sand did not commit themselves as to filling. The
decision of the Board of Appeals has been held for the time being.
McConchie
Mr. Leel.and McConchie and Mr. Nylander appeared with informal plan
of Diana Lane and portion of land of Lexington Construction Co. on Robinson
Hill, comprised of 13 lots, on which they wished the Board's opinion as to
general layout. Plan left for further study by Mr. Burns as to sewer possi-
bility.
Dianne Estates
On definitive plan for Quincy Avenue submitted by Dianne Estates,
Inc. plan having been approved on May 10, 1954, certification vote having
been filed with the Town Clerk on May 11, 1954, it was moved by Mr. Jaquith,
seconded by Mr. Ripley that the plan be endorsed.
On plan of Ledgelawn Avenue dated May 15, 1954 submitted for ten-
tative approval, this was held for Mr. Friel to contact Mr. Millican as to
completion of street.

Bill presented by Louise M. Baker, secretarial service for May,
$20.00. Voted the bill be paid.
Ross
with application on Form B
Flan submitted/by Mrs. A. A. Ross returned to Mr. Nylander for con-
rection of Fremont St. with Constitution Road. Will then be ready for formal
tentative approval.
Peacock Farm
Preliminary plan submitted for tentative approval by Peacock Farms,
Inc. of Trotting Horse Lane as redrawn May 24, 1954. Moved by Mr. Ripley.
seconded by Mr. Hathaway that plan be approved. _
Mr. Adams reported that both Mr. Greeley and Mr. Kelly had been
approached with regard to interest in Consultant's job, but were not anxious
to take part. Both felt that Mr. Benjamin was a,.good man for the job. How-
ever it was the feeling of the Board that both be asked for written proposal
or refusal for a matter of record.
