Company

(Jackson' land, for informal discussion. The plan was left with Mr. Burns for
further study.
New Road
The Board adjourned to the Selectmen's Rocmi-where an informal -hearing
was being held on proposed riew road between Bedford street and Mass. Ave., with
15.abuttors present. Mr. Hathaway stated that the Board was present'for the pur-
pose of listening., but it would be glad to answer any questions. Mr. Reed ex-
plained that the Selectmen felt there was not enough time left to properly pre-
pare an article for Town Meeting in the Spring so it would be postponed until
September. It was felt that the matter was urgent and should be thoroughly
gone into before presentation so it would be sure to be in proper form. All
citizens present were in favor of the road except one.
Appeals
Mr. Hathaway read the notice of hearings to be held by Board of Appeals
on Thursday, May 6. The only one of interest was that of petition of Barbara
Anderson for permission to build on Woodbury road which would not have frontage
on a street. While it was felt that there would be no harm in granting this
since there was only one such lot in the area., there might be some complications
and it was decided that a member of the Board should attend the hearing if pos-
sible.
