Bill Bill presented by Adams Press, publishing hearing 3/4-11, DeVries, $5.00. Unanimously voted the bill be paid, Mr. Adams not voting. Amendments On motion of Mr. Grindle, seconded by Mr. Hathaway, it was voted to authorize Mr. Burns to go ahead with preparing amendments and maps with cor- rected zoning changes shown, for printing. DeVries - Hearing A public hearing was held at 8 olclock relative to application for approval as a subdivision the property of DeVries Construction Co., Inc. as follows: Fairlawn Lane from'Lowell St. in an easterly direction about 8001, Whipple Road from Lowell St. in a northeasterly direction about 4001, Wheeler Road from a point on Whipple Road in a northerly direction approximately 14001 terminating at intersection of Fairlawn Lane. Twelve citizens were present. Many questions were asked relative to drainage problems, which Mr. DeVries explained satisfactorily. Mr. Adams also explained that the drainage would have to be satisfactorily taken care of before the Town Engineer and Board'of Health would approve. There seemed to be no other problems of importance. On a show of hands 12 were in favor, none opposed. Those speaking for the -group were: Howard Tuttle, 219 Lowell St.; Richard Crawford, 239 Lowell St.; H.L.Paq}uette, 223 Lowell St.; and Mr. Thomas Cerulli, 249 Lowell St. Friel Mr. Friel presented plans of subdivision of property between Han- cock St., Liberty Ave. and Revere St. This plan, however, was not complete and the new rules and regulations were explained to him. Plan returned to Mr. Friel for completion as required. Mr. Adams read the list of hearings for next Thursday before Board of Appeals, but none needed action by the Planning Board. Discussion was held on the matter of hiring a consultant and per- manent employee. It was felt that the matter of consultant should be settled ' first inasmuch as he would have to work with the employee and might have some suggestions to make. A number of top consultants will be interviewed, in- cluding those who live in Lexington, and Mr. Adams will try and get two for C� C next Monday's meeting. It was suggested that a form be drawn up for filling , in so that all pertinent data will be available on each applicant: There are several projects in immediate need of study, such as more parking, apart- ments., intra -town roads, etc., so it is felt that the matter should be settled as quickly as possible.
