Present: Adams, Crindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Potter, Ripley.
Meeting opened at 7 o'clock.
Fire Station Property
Motion made by Mr. Ripley, seconded by Mr. Potter that the Select-
men be asked why they want to sell the Fire Station property on Mariam
street at this time and if they have no good reason, to state that the
Planning Board feels it has an interest in the disposal of this land and
does not recommend it at this time. Unanimously voted,

Mr. Hathaway stated be bad secured a figure for complete survey from
Sidney N. Schurcliff which was quoted at $204252000, which compared with
that received from Adams, Howard & Greeley and George B. Cabot. Mr. Hatha-
way stated he felt that in view of the criticism of the Board that a sense
of the meeting should be taken as to whether or not they would like to have
a complete survey made.
