' Monday, January 29,1953
Presents Adams, Hathaway, Irwin, Johnson, Potter, Ripley.
Meeting opened at 7:45 o'clock.
M-1 Zone
Discussion was held on the advisability of creating an M-1 zone in the
area westerly of R-128, partly because of increased income and partly because

mately as bounded on the east by Route 128, southerly by Lincoln street, west-
erly by Lincoln line, and northerly by Mass. Ave. and Marrett street. Unani-
mously voted. Mr. Ripley proposed an amendment to this to keep a strip 200
feet deep fronting on Lincoln St. between Rt. 128and northerly edge of Mill
Street as residential. So voted.
Moved by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Hathaway that present M-1 district
be extended: easterly to a line 200 feet from and parallel to Bedford street and
to Westview street; westerly to Wood street and to a line joining Route 128 and
Wood street at their closest approach northerly at the end of Bates road and
westerly to the Bedford line.
