The meeting opened at 7s145 o'clock.
Mr. Caouette appeared with s%Uestion that the Planning Board sponsor
at the Town Meeting under Article 2 a recommendation by which the Moderator
would appoint a committee of 15, three of which should be realtora, to act
as a study group in connection with the new laboratories in Lexington, to
determine the housing needs and to lend every possible assistance in work-
ing out ways and means to adequately house this personnel. This would be
with the idea of trying to avoid the government stepping in with government
housing.
The Board after discussion felt it would be better to have an estab-
lished group of real estate men set up a committee to work with the Planning
Board, under whose direction this normally comes, rather than to have two
town committees working on the same problem.
