PLANNING BOARD &IEETIP?G
Monday, Nov. 13, 1950
Present: Cromwell, Adams, Johnson, Ripley, Potter.
Meeting opened at 7:30 p.m.
Antonio J Lima
1:1r. Antonio J. Lima and Mr. Charles Vaughan, counsel for Por.
Lima appeared with petition to keep property of Mr. Lima at 837 Waltham
Street and Concord Avenue in the business zone. The property was zoned
for business when purchased and there is business on the opposite corner.
After discussion the Board felt that inasmuch as the warrants had already
been printed NIr. Lima let the matter rest until after the Town Meeting.
They would then be in favor of restoring the area to business zone. rt-.
Potter to so advise Lir. Vaughan.
Robert Ryder
11r. Robert Ryder appeared to protest the change in frontage and
size of lots. Stated he was not opposed to the change in itself; felt
that it was justified in certain areas but that it should not apply to
all sections. Stated it would create a hardship for him as he had a
development laid out which it would be impossible to change to fit the
new'law; that if it were recommended at the Town Meeting he would do his
best to defeat it.
Town Counsel Stevens appeared at 8:50 and further discussion of
zoning by-laws was held.
L'eeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
