Meeting opened at 7850 in Engineers Room but adjourned to Selectmen's Room. In the absence of Mr.Cromwell, Mr.Caouette moved and Mr.Adams seconded the motion that Mr.William Potter act as Chairman pro tem. So voted. Hearing - Deb HQmes,Inc. Mr.Cosmo DeBonis and Mr.Nicholas DeBonis appeared for Deb Homes,Inc. of Medford who sought approval of plats and profiles for the extension of flays from Lowell street to subdivide into lots a portion of the Wheeler Estate as shown on Plan by C.B.Northrup, C.E. of Belmont. These pians follow the orig- inal layout of Pleasant Associates for which tentative approval had formerly been given. During the hearing it was agreed by the petitioners to deed to the Town of Lexington the difference between the recorded layout and the new layout of lots 1 - 11 inclusive, on Plan of Land in Lexington (10 - 1001) April 1950 by C.B.Northrup, C.E. so that the curve of the street as shown on said plan may conform to the original pian entitled Fairlawn Proposed Layout for Pleasant Associates dated Dee.1949, G.B.Northrup,C.E. No objectors appeared. Moved by Mr.Adams and seconded by Mr.Csouette that plans be referred to Mr. Burns, Town Engineer, for agreement and bonding arrangement. Unanimous]y voted. Hearing - Caryl Realty Trust Co. ' Mr.Elton O.Stearns of Rowland H.Barnes & Co. and John A.Cadario of Arl- ington appeared for Caryl Realty Trust with petition for approval of the ex- tension of Crescent Road to Green Lane as shown on plate and profiles of How- land H.Barnes & Co., C.E. entitled "Subdivision of land in Lexington, Mass. belonging to John A.Cadario" dated June 26,19511. A group of n eitissens in that neighborhood appeared with questions re effect, if any, of drainage from Batch's Pond. There were no objections outside of this question of drainage, it being their desire that the level of the Pond be not raised above summer average. It was moved by Mr.Adams and seconded by Mr.Caouette that plans be referred to Mr.Burns for his approval re drainage and water, and for agreement and bonding arrangement. Unanimously voted. Peter Zitso Mr.Peter Zitso appeared with the request that the business axone be ex- tended to include both sides of Waltham St. as far as Forest St. He had in mind the building of a commercial photographic studio adjacent to the Catholic Club. He was advised to write the Board to that effect; also to contact Mr. Errol Iocke to see if there was a possibility of getting this through the Board of Appeals. A bill was presentees from Adams Press for advertising of hearings of Caryl Realty Trust and Deb Homee,Inc. amounting to $3.00. It was voted to pay the bill.. Mr.Adams not voting.
