Present: Cromwell, Adams, Burns, Caouette, Johnson, Potter
The meeting opened at 7:45.
Larsen Property- Oak Street
After some discussion with regard to the Larsen property, a motion
was made by Mr.Potter, seconded by Lk .Caouette, to "reaffirm the Planning
Boardts original recommendation on the proposed agreement with Mr.Larsen
re his land on Oak Street. Specifically - it does not recommend that the
town agree with Mr.Larsen1s request that his land be exempt from better-
ments on the proposed new street." Unanimously voted.
Bills
The following bills were presented: H.B.McArdle, 4 reams mimeo paper
(for printing Subdivision Rules and Regulations) $8.00. Unanimously voted
the bill be paid. Adams Press, publishing hearing of Lexington Construc-
tion Co., $2.00. Voted the bill be paid, Mr.Adama not voting.
1775 House
A letter was read from Mr.Fied Seim regarding his petition to take
under consideration the extending of the business zone on this particular
piece of property for parking purposes. It was unanimously voted not to
do so.
Selectmen
A letter was read from the Board of Selectmen acknowledging letter
from Planning Board which recommended additional help be secured for En-
gineering Department, stating that the matter had been turned over to Mr.
Burns.
Town Counsel
Mr.Harold Stevens, Town Counsel, appeared before the Board and stated
that he required more time to fully study the zoning by-laws and that they
would in all probability be ready for the fall Town Meeting.
Cavanaugh Property
Mr.F'ed Joyce was in with several informal questions on the possible
subdivision of land of Thomas F.Cavanaugh of 149 Grant Street, and the
Kelly Development on Munroe Estate.

Mr.Gaouette appeared before the Board as agent for petitioners who
seek to change the business zone of the Russell House property to permit
the erection of garden-court apartment buildings and a 20-room hotel with the
request that the Board designate area affected by assessment according to the
zoning by-law - whether or not school property and other property of the Town
of Lexington were considered as being area affected. It was unanimously voted
to include an area of 500 ft. exclusive of public property.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
