Present; Potter, Johnson, Adams, Cromwell, Ripley, Caouette
and Burns, Town Engineer
On motion made by Fred Johnson and seconded by Mr.
Ripley, it was unanimously voted that the business dis-
tricts on the four corners of Lowell and North Streets,
the business district on the westerly side of Bedford
Street, across from the car barns, and the business dis-
trict on the easterly side of Bedford Street at the rail-
road, at the southerly junction of Marrett Road and
Lincoln Street, the business district on the northwest
corner of Marrett Road and Waltham Street, the business
district on the southerly side of Woburn Street from the
railraod, right of way to Cottage Street as described in
the 1946 revision of Zoning By -Law be placed back to
C.1 business districts in the 1950 Proposed Amendment.
On motion duly made by Alan Adams, the business
district on the southwest corner of Marrett Road and
Waltham Street, as defined in proposed 1950 amendment,
be changed so as to read the same as the district de-
fined in 1946 revision, with the exception that the
Zone as described in 1946 revision be enlarged to a
depth of 2001 throughout. There not being a seconder, the
' motion was lost.
On motion made by William Potter and seconded by W.
S. Caouette, it was voted to continue the Zone as prop-
osed in 1950 Amendment. In favor, Johnson, W. S. Caouette,
Ripley, potter, Cromwell. Adams, no.
On motion by Adams duly made and seconded by Potter,
It was voted to keep the Childs property, so-called, at
the junction of Watertown Street and Route 2 in a T.1
zone as proposed in the 1950 amendment. It was unanimous-
ly voted.
On motion duly made by F. K. Johnson, and seoonded
by Mr. Ripley, it was voted the business area at the
Intersection of Lowell and Woburn Streets remain as des-
cribed in 1946 Zoning amendments. Unanimously voted.
On motion made by W. S. Caouette, and seconded by
Alan Adams, the business area on both sides of Marrett
Road at the intersection of Spring Street as proposed
by the 1950 By -Laws be increased as follows: on the
southerly side of Marrett Road to include Lot 235 and
on the northly side to include the entire lot of Dan.
Curtin. Unanimously voted.
