Meetingcalled to order 7:45 P. M.
Present: Potter, Johnson, Cromwell, Ripley, Adams,
Caouet.te and Burns, Town Engineer
On motion made by Adams and Seconded by W. S.
Caouette, by unanimous vote, that minutes of hearings
be transcribed.
Mr. Joseph Silva and Son appeared at 8 P. M. for a
hearing according to notice duly advertised. No one
appeared against the proposal and moved that layout be
left with Town Engineer. Taken under advisement.
8:15 P. M. Puritan Homes regarding expediting contract
with Puritan Homes on account of F. H. A. increasing
cost of approval. Suggested reducing number of lots on
Puritan Road to 12 lots. Resultant Bond about $9,000.
Burns to work out contract specifications.
8:30 P. M. Hearing on Harvey Nugent subdivision. Duly
advertised. Chairman opened hearing. Mr. Nugent explained
what he intended to build and what he is to do to streets
under Board of Survey regulations. Several interested
residents on Wood Street area appeared and asked questions
relative to layout. Bob Johnson, 60 Wood St., questioned
attitude of Planning Board regarding type of house. Gail
Smith, Donald Lindsay, Kenneth Cassidy, Murray Roberts,
all of Wood Street, in opposition to type of house being
erected on the land. Lexington Construction Co., Inc.,
formerly Harvey Nugent, taken under advisement. Plans
left with Town Engineer.
9:00 P. M. Hearing, duly advertised, John Craig advertise-
ment. Hearing closed. Taken under advisement.
Bill from Adams Press advertising Silva, Craig and
Nugent hearings, approved, :4.50.
9:15 P. M. Discussion of Board of Survey regulations.
Meeting adjourned 10:22 P. M.
