April 10, 1950
Meeting called to order 7:30 P. M.
Present: Potter, Johnson, Cranwell Ripley, Adams,
Caouette and Burns, Town Engineer.
Chairman read a proposed letter to be published
regarding further explanation of new Zoning By-Law.
8: 00 P. M. Mr. Joseph Silva appeared with plan of
proposed 40f way to be known as Sunny Terrace for approval
of 8 lots. To be advertised the 13th for hearing
May 1, 1950. Approximately 900 feet northwesterly from
Sunnyknoll Ave., so-called. Subdivision of land in
Lexington, Mass. belonging to Joseph Silva, 59 Reed
Street, recorded Middlesex South District Book 3161,
Page 218, Scale 1 inch equals 40 Feet, dated February
17th, 1950, A. Platt & R. Keith, Surveyors, Waltham.
Mr. Craig plan showing subdivision of lots on
new way extending 800 feet, more or less, northerly from
East Street to Burnham line. Taken under advisement.
Fred Joyce appeared.
8:35 P . M. Mr. Joseph Kelly of Kelly Corporation and
Fred Joyce appeared with plans of Munroe Estate. 420
lots, scheme taken under advisement. Mr. Kelly will
bring in new layout for business section--Monday,
May 10th.
9:30 P. M. Harvey Nugent with prospective plans and
profiles for tentative approval. 26 lots. To be adver-
tised April 13th.
Moved and seconded that Planning Board approve an
Article to be made at the May Town Meeting that a committee
of six be established; two from the School Committee. two
Selectmen; two from the Planning Board, to determin future
school site locations.
Bill of Adams Press advertising new Zoning By-Laws
and Puritan Homes, Inc. meeting, approved-485.25, total.
