November 7, 1949
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P. M.
Present: Cromwell, Johnson, Adams, Ripley, Potter
Caouette and Burns, Town engineer.
There was a discussion of Garden Apartments by
the Board.
Mr. Silva again appeared before the Planning Board
seeking an 0. Y. of his plan for development of the area
he owns at the rear of SunnyKnoll Avenue. He was given
informal approval by the Board and will submit, at a
later time, his plans for final approval.
Then appeared Mr. Richard C. Taisey of 140 Syca-
more Street, Somerville and Mr. John A. Carrier of
91 Burlington Street, Lexington who exhibited tenta-
tive layout of proposed street from Preston Road onto
the Burgoyne land so as to open up, under subdivision
regulations, four (4 ) lots. In the opinion of the
Planning Board, the plan in general seemed acceptable.
Upon motion by the Clerk, it was voted to employ a
stenographer for the hearing to be held November 8, 1949
on Petition by Miss Edith Willard and others regarding
an amendment to the Lexington Zoning By-Law and Mr.
Potter announced that he could secure the services of
Hiss Hazel Murray, of the Board of Selectmen's office,
to take the necessary notes .
The rest of the meeting was devoted to further dis-
cussion of 'Te ?oning By-Law.
