Minutes of the Lexington Planning Board
September 26, 1949
Meeting called to order 7:30 P. M.
Present: Adams, Cromwell, Potter, Johnson, Caouette and
Burns (Town Engineer)
Edward B. P,iorelli of 611 Massachusetts Avenue, Lex-
ington presented plans for approval for Lot 6, Veteranâ–şs
Housing Project, Hill Street, Lexington. Moved that plans
be approved.
Letter from Mrs. Coulombe regarding; neighborhood
store. Clerk to write that, she must go before the Town
Meeting. Prospects not good.
Letter from Selectmen regarding the Macaulay lot on
Marrett 'load, discussed and it was voted that Mr. Caouette
proceed as per letter of September 22, 1949.
' Letter requesting joint meeting with the Board of
Selectmen regarding street work on Ledgelawn Avenue.
8:05 P. M. Mr. Larson, Mr. Peters, attorney, and Mon-
tague, engineer, appeared regarding land of Larson on
Oak Street. Suggestion made that the Planning Board
recommend to the Board of Selectmen that an Easement
for Sewer, water and public travel, with the betterment
to be assessed against Lots C. D. and E. --no betterments
against A & B.
