Minutes of the Lexington Planning Board
August 23, 1949
Meeting called to order 7:35 P. M.
Present: Burns, Cromwell, Johnson, Ripley, Adams and
Caouette
Bill from Adams Press ;'1.50, approved and entered on the
records.
8:10 P. Y. Mr. Harold Stevens, Chairman, and associates, Donald
Fifield and James V. MacDonald, representing the Lexington Long
Range Planning Committee appeared. General discussion regarding
the studies their committee are making in order to make a
report for possible capitol outlays for the town over the future
years. Problems--drainage--refuse--water--swwer.
Letter from Gustave Larson.
Letter from Chamber of Commerce regarding information
booth on Buckman Tavern land. Chairman to reply to letter.
' Letter (copy) regarding Middlesex and Boston to Board
of Selectmen regarding new routes. Layed on table for sub-
sequent meeting.
Study of Zore layouts.
