Minutes of the Lexington Planning Board
July 12, 1949
Tyleeting called to order 7:30 P. M.
Present: Ripley, Potter, Johnson, Adams, Caouette and Burns,
Town Engineer
In absence of Chairman, on vote, Mr. Johnson appointed
Chairman.
Clerk instructed to write to Mr. Callahan, Commissioner
of Public Works, Boston regarding access from Bedford Street --
Route 4 and 25 --to the new highway and also request informa-
tion as to grade crossings of Route 128 in the Town of Lexing-
ton.
8 P. M. Hearing called to order. Robert L. Ryder petition for
lots on Dane Road. Plans and profiles by Miller and
Nylander submitted. Mr. Ryder stated that he had
requested the Superintendant of Public Works to
prepare for water main extension on Dane Road. On
motion made and seconded, plat and profiles were
approved.
8:05 P. M.Mr. McLaughlin appeared with Engineer Joyce with
tentative layout of 45 lots to be opened at Woodhaven
Development. After discussion, Mr. McLaughlin was
informed that plan would be given consideration and
he would be notified as soon as possible. After
considerable discussion, decided to lay on table until
next meeting.
John Blackwellfs bill of ;25.00 approved.
Next meeting --July 26, 1949.
