Meeting called to order 7:40 P. M.
Present: Potter, Cromwell, Adams, Johnson, Ripley, Caouette,
Burns, Town Engineer & Blackwell, Consultant
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Agreement signed by and between the Lexington Planning
Board and Ridge Construction Company in compliance with Art. 3,
Sect. 3 of Building Laws of the Town of Lexington together
with plan and profile of Golden Avenue, as approved by the
Planning Board.
8;10 Mr. Ernest Cutter, 127 Follen Road, Lexington appeared
before the Board regarding the Zoning of 577 Marrett Road, all
frontage on Marrett Road. 100 foot frontage on Marrett Road,
south of Mawhinney Garage. Informal discussion disclosed re-
quest by Mr. Cutter to have his entire parcel included in
proposed new business area.
Parking meter study
Voted: That the Selectmen be notified that the Planning
' Board approves the layout, dated January 25th, 1949, of Parking
meters submitted with the exception that the Board suggested
that temporarily only the posts be installed in front of the
Post Office and a test check be later made to determine whether
the need of meters is demonstrated by experience.
As a result of informal discussion as to the development of
a qday for parking agress from Massachusetts Avenue at the junction
of Edison 'day across the rear land of the business property front-
ing on Massachusetts Avenue to Depot Square; Voted: That a letter
be sent to the Board of Selectmen stating that the Planning Board
recommends to the Board that the Town take the necessary action
and request an appointment to discuss the points at issue.
Voted: That a letter be sent
