' PLANNING BOARD AND BOARD OF SELECTMEN
January 18, 1949
Purposes To discuss the Planning Board's proposed Zoning By-law revision.
Present: Messrs.Cromwell, Ripley, Adams, Richards, Burns, Johnson, Worthen
from the Planning Board and Messrs.Emery.. Gay and Nickerson of the Board of
Selectmen. Mr.Blackwell, Mr.Lindstrom and Mr.Lyneh were also present.
Mr.Cromwell reviewed in general the major changes contemplated
under the proposed revised zoning by-law. A proposed map of zones was dis-
played. Basic principles were discussed. Mr.Lynch asked why the metric
system was used in numbering paragraphs. He also questioned the paragraph
on music teaching. The Garden Apartment 'Zone was discussed. Mr.Lindstrom
spoke of minimum lot coverage. Off-street parking was also discussed.
The meeting adjourned at IOS30 p.m.
