for preliminary approval a proposed plan of lotting of area between
Maple street and Woburn street. The area sought for preliminary approval
is on Street "A"., lots l through 35.

asked if the Board generally approved its design. The Board seemed to be
in general agreement.
Revision of Zoning By -Laws
Lir. Cromwell pointed out that in Section 10, last three lines,
there is a conflict of meaning. Mr. Blackwell came in at this point to
continue the revision of the Zoning By-laws. The eight points which were
to be considered in the revision of the zoning by-laws were checked over
again.
' 1. Larger residence lots.
2. Conversion privileges. (Settled).
3. Change of local business zones.
4. 30—ft. front yards.
5. Elimination of two-family house zone. (Settled).
6. I.b ndatory off-street parking. (Settled).
7. Permissive form of wording for small lot combination. (Settled.)
8. Garden apartment zones.
Pte. Blackwell reported on the phrase "customary home occupations",
(see last week's records), and stated that in by-laws of other towns he
found many cases of this wording. Under discussion of larger residence
lots 1.r% Blackwell submitted extensive reports of the present number of
lots larger than required. This information had been secured from a care-
ful examination of the assessors' records. There was considerable discus-
sion of this data. P,qr. Adams moved and Mr. Ripley seconded the motion that
there be two zones outlined roughly on a map, one in the thickly settled
areas of 12,500 ft., and the other of 25,000 ft. with a 125' frontage. So
voted.
Sherburne Road Bond
Mr. Johnson moved, and PIr. Richards seconded a motion to release the
bond on the Sherburne Road development of Robert L.Ryder, at al.
