The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
J.W. Geer Petition
Mr.Burns reported on the change necessary in Mr.Geer's petition
for increased M-1 (light manufacturing) area off Westview street. October
14th has been set as the date for a new hearing. So voted. The Board
deemed the area affected by the amended petition to be the same as desig-
nated on August 10, 1948.
Mr.Burns presented a map which included traffic flow of Lexington
Center. Yr.Blackwell came in and discussed the problem. His only objec-
tion is the town giving exit and ingress for private parking area. Mr.
Cromwell said that the real question is, "Is this proposed way for the
material benefit of the safety and convenience of the citizens?" The
Planning Board decided not to recommend that the Town construct a town way
in the rear of this proposed parking area.
