August 31,1948
Present: Burns, Adams, Cromwell, Richards and Worthen. 1& .Blackwell
came at 9 p.m.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

It was voted to request Town Engineer Burns to secure all
relevant information on property owners in and about the Grandview Avenue
section. This action is in response to a letter from the Selectmen fol-
lowing a request by Robert L.Ryder to purchase certain tax title lots in
the area. So notify.
Veterans' Lots
Mr.Burns reported that Mr.Lynch requested that a plan of the
Veterans' Lots be signed so that the plans may be recorded. There was
considerable discussion and Mr.Cromwell conferred with Mr.Lynch by 'phone.
Mr.Lynch advised that it was proper that the Board sign the plan as sub-
mitted.
Mr_Cpmwell - Recreation Committee
Mr.Cromwell reported on the request of Recreation Committee for
connecting link of Town Park property and "Old Res". Mr.Burns pointed
out that sewer easement for North Branch could easily include Park ease-
ment to solve this problem.
Second request of Recreation Committee is for North Lexington
playground as near Parker School as possible. The subject was discussed.
Re: Renort on High: el an by Mr.Blackwell
**Blackwell gave a detailed report on preliminary survey of
needs of new roads and enlargements of present roads. There was lengthy
discussion.
