Chairman Cromwell introduced Town Engineer William Beans and stated
that henceforth he would be an ex officio member of the Board.
Report on Typist
The clerk reported that he bad talked with Miss Corcoran regarding
stenographic work for the Board and that she would be unable to do it at
the present time. Mr.Richard moved and Mr.Worthen seconded the motion that
Miss Arlene Knight of the Selectmen's office be engaged to do stenographic
work. The vote was passed unanimously.
Letter from Town Counsel
A letter from Town Counsel lunch was read explaining the problem
presented at the last meeting and pointing out building permits could now
be issued to owners other than the original.
Eggand of Survey Regulation
Chairman Cromwell then pointed out that the present Board of Survey
regulations or new ones taken from the "Planning Forum" must be adopted.
It was decided to compare the two sets of regulations and combine them into
a new set. The remainder of the evening was spent in combing these two
sets of regulations in a roughdraft for typing.
Vaille Farm Trust
Mr.E.B.Rorthen Jr. introduced a plan of the Vaille Farm Trust sub-
mitted by Joseph Silva of 59 Reed Street and stated that Mr.Silva wanted to
know how to develop some of the lots as indicated on the plan. The Clerk
was instructed to write Mr.Silva a letter stating that he would have to go
through a subdivision layout.
The meeting adjourned at 10:55 p.m.
