The Board had received a set of forms asking for a re-zoning of land in
North Lexington and a check for $20 from Mr.J W.Greer of Cambridge. Since the
forms were not properly made out it was decided to return all the material to
rJ .Greer with an explanatory letter.
Cemetery
Nr.Worthen read a letter prepared by him protesting the passage of bill
No.1478. This was approved by the Planning Board and it was agreed that Mr.
Houdlette would present it at the hearing in Boston on march 2.
Arlington Business Zone on Concord Turnpike
Mr.Houdlette reported on his attendance at the hearing of the Arlington
Planning Board om the establishment in Arlington of a business zone on the Con-
cord Turnpike next to the Lexington line. It had appeared to him that the Arling-
ton Planning Board was favorable to his viewpoint and to that of the Lexington
Planning Board but that opposition by certain business interests in Arlington was
strong and determined.
Respectfully submitted,
