PL&NnNG BOARD MWING
September 16, 1947
PresentsWorthen, Richards, Houdlette and Cromwe"
Mr.J.W.Greer of J.W.Greer & Company, makers of candy manufactur-
Ing machinery in Cambridge, was present.
He owns property westerly of the Boston & Maine tracks near the
Bedford lines A 250 -foot strip adjoining the Railroad is zoned for light
manufacturing. He seeks to have some additional area so zoned in order to
establish a small "laboratory" for experimental work and possibly some
manufacturing.
&.Greer was given forms and instruction re zoning changes.
No trate was taken but informa34y the Board was favorably inclined
to the change. The type of manufacture would apparently be of the "light"
variety, the property is remote from the town center, near the railroad
and adjoins land that is swampy and poorly developed so far as homes are
concerned.
'Miller & Nvlander
The Board approved of a bill from Miller & Nylander for $30 for
work on the Gant Street School sites.
Respect ,
Ric P,Cromwell
