PLANKING BOM MEETING

Presents Nickerson, Ferguson, Cromwell, Richards and Worthen
The School Committee met with the Board at 8 p.m. for a preliminary
discussion of grade school sites. The problem was discussed at length, and
the Board presented two sites for consideration:
1. Land between Grant Stmt and Vine Street, including the Ul ; properties
owned by Richards, Sayan and Buckley.
2. Land on easterly side of Grant Street, opposite foot of York Street.
The School Committee appeared to be more favorably disposed toward
the Colony Road site, previously considered by this Board, and it was agreed
to obtain more detailed information on this site for discussion at a subse-
quent meeting.

Mr.Ryder appeared before the Board for approval of an extension of
Sherburne Road, preparatory for hearing by the Board of Survey. Approximately
700 feet is indicated, which conforms satisfactorily to the plan of develop-
ment for the entire area. The Board approved the layout as shown.

*.Blackwell's letters and reports were reviewed, and it was 'voted to
authorize the Chairman to have this project started, cost of which is not to
exceed $300.

Mr.Cromwell made a report of progress.
Harold A. Conant
Letter from Mr.Conan% showing two lots owned by him on Lincoln Street
(McIntosh - 1916), in which he requests permission to change the rear property
lines, now unequal, so that they will be equal. Chairman to write Mr.Conant,
explaining the Planning Board's position and directing him to the Board. of
Appeals.
