YW?NING BOARD MEETING
January 14,1947
Presents Messrs.Richards, Nickerson, Ferguson and Worthen
Mr.Charles G.Davis, Chairman of committee appointed to obtain prelim-
inary plans for the new high school, appeared at the Board's request in order
to discuss possible relocation of town property line or other means of per-
mitting access from enclosed Ryder property. The Board examined the architect's
layout, showing location of building and roads. Considerable discussion followed,
and it was voted to request further topographic study be made of the Board's
preferences, by Albert Miller, said plan to be completed in time for joint meet-
ing with the Selectmen. In general, the Board does not approve of a road layout
which will permit traffic to be directed into the school and playground road
system.
The Board discussed the various amendments to the Zoning Bylaw which have
been considered, and it was decided to concentrate on those pertaining to evasions
and conflictions. Pth•.Richards will take care of the preliminary draft of these
articles.
Meeting adjourned at 10 p.m.
