Conant Mr. Conant showed the Board a copy of the plan filed with the Registry of Deeds on March 18, 1938 of his property on Lincolh Street opposite the town dump and running back to the standpipe lot. The plan shown to the Board had certain alterations as compared with the original. The proposed street was different and the number of lots was greater. The original plan was marked, "To be divided into lots of 79500 square feet with 75 foot frontage." The Board told Mr. Conant that there was some question as to whether any alterations in the original plan would be permitted that did not put the entire plan in conformance with present regulations as to lot size etc. ' The Board also pointed out to Mr. Conant that the cost of the proposed street would be very large in comparison with the apparent value of the lots. Mr. Conant agreed that further study was necessary. Lincoln & School Streets_ Mr. Potter. discussed with the Board the situation at the junction of Lincoln & School Streets. A business zone at that point is described as starting from the junction of these streets. However, there is a paved road that cuts through the corner of Lincoln and School. This has never been accepted by the town. since it came into being gradually through public use. At present this cutoff occupies a large part of the property apparently defined as a business zone. The questions are: (1) Where is the junction of the two roads? (2) Just where are the street lines in this area? (3) What procedure is necessary to alter the business done so it will be useful in conformity to the street lines. Parking Lot The parking lot question has been referred to the Board for further study. r Spaulding -Moss Company The Board al.proved a bill for $1.10 from Spaulding -Moss Company paid by Mr. Worthen, dated April 22, 1946 covering ' Ptinting of plans covering the "parking lot area. Lowell Turnpike The Board considered a map shown by Mr. Houdlette on which was indicated the proposed location of the Lgwell Turnpike, The Board expressed the opinion, informally, that t#e turnpike should be routed so as not to go through the Peacock Farm.
