September 4, 1946
Present
Messrs . Worthen, Houdlette, Nickerson, Richards and
Cromwell.
Joseph Napoli
Mr Napoli appeared before the board and explained his
reasons for desiring a change in zoning from "residential" to
"business" on his property on Bedford Street. The Board now has
in its files a plan of the property dated September 4, 1945.
This is marked as lot (A ) . Mr. Napoli does not seek to have lot
(B), also shown on the plan, zoned for "business. "
Mr. Napoli has recently purchased the property. He hopes
to erect a grocery store, drugstore and barber shop. He plans to
put two six-room apartments above the first floor.
The Planning Board explained the necessary procedure to
Mr. Napoli but did not arrive at any conclusions.
Building and Zoning By-Laws
Mr. Worthen suggested that the Board members be consider-
ing the building and zoning by-laws in line with the selectmen's
request.
