Meeting with Selectmen
May 25, 1945
Messrs. Worthen, Houdlette, Ferguson and Cromwell.
Rapid Transit
The report of the Planning Board was read to the
Selectmen and copies of it -distributed. Mr. Houdlette's map,
indicating the Somerville Junction route, was shown to the
Selectmen and described by Mr. Houdlette.
The Selectmen reversed their previous decision and
decided not to oppose passage of the act. They agreed that the
plan of the Legislative ComA ttee is not satisfactory.
The Selectmen voted to ask the Planning Board to
proceed with a study of zoning and.building by-laws.
