This subject was considered at some length. The State
plans were brought to the meeting and did not coincide with
the pi,eviously expressed ideas of the Planning; Board. Mr.
Tlyerson discussed various problems concerning; the railroad
crossing, at East Lexington and the crossing at rlassachusetts
Avenue. The chief problem here has to do with whether the
crossing should be an over -pass, an under -pass or a traffic
circle. The question of having an under -pass would depend
in part on whether the Great Meadows are to be made into a
'
lake or a park.
It was agreed that Mr. Myerson would devote practically
his full time to the Planning Board until approximately Compensation
July 4th and that for these services his compensation
for Mr.
would be t50.

Mr. Greeley reported that he had submitted a plan of
the town showing the location of miscellaneous junk to
Mrs. Wheeler, Chairman of the Salvage Committee. Mrs.
Salvage
Wheeler reported that all but one item had been collected
