HomeMy WebLinkAbout1943-03-29I PLANNING BOARD MEETING March 29, 1943 A regular meeting of the Planning Board was held at the Town Office Building on Monday, March 29, 1943 with Messrs. Greeley, Nickerson, Ferguson and Cromwell present. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as sub- mitted. Mr. Ureeley was re-elected chairman of the Planning Boara for the ensuing year, and Mr. Cromwell was re-elected clerk. Five reports from the Advance Budp;eting and Pro- grammin7 Committee were received. Mr. Greeley took one Advance copy to send to the Board of Selectmen and Mr. Nickerson Budgeting took one to send to the Advance Budgetting and Programming and Committee. Two copies of the report were retained for Programming the files and the remaining copy was to be given to the Committee Adams Press. The Board authorized payment of $25.00 to Mr. Carl G. Vienot for printing the above report. ' Mr. Greeley reported that his efforts to obtain a Postwar, specialist to assist in the work of Postwar Planning had Planning been fruitless so far. Mr. Greeley mentioned some of the subjects on which planning might be desirable. These were: Route 128, Middlesex Turnpike, East Lexington Meadows, and finishing the work done by Mr. Steiner on subdivisions. No date was set for the next meeting.
