The Selectmen having asked for the Board's opinion re-
lative to a proposed &Ift of a five-foot strip of land adja-
cent to Swan Lane, it was voted, and the clerk was instructed
to advise the Selectmen that in the opinion of the Planning
Board the donation might be accepted.
Mr. Charles `I. Ryder's proposed National Park, to be
developed on his 'Valtham Street property, was again dis-
cussed. 111hile the Board has already indicated to Mr. Ryder
that the Town would not be interested in accepted this

the idea.
It was voted to appropriate the sum of not more than
X15.00 to construct a frame for the Master Plan hanging in
the office of the Building Inspector. Pdr. Newhall was
delegated to handle this project.
Relative to the blue print showing the proposed curb
line for Yassachusetts Avenue, it was voted to suggest
to the Selectmen that they should consider opening negotia-
tions VTJth the 73oston rdison Cor --parry in connection with the
property owned by them which projects beyond the line. The
Clerk was instructed to notify the Selectmen to this effect.
Discussion took place relative to changing the district
on the west side of Massachusetts Avenue from Colonial Garage
to 'Jinthrop Road from a Cl to an Rl district. The Baptist
Church was reported as being particularly anxious for this
change to takeplace and Fr. Greeley was asked to find out if
that organization would be willing to institute a hearing.
The meeting adjourned at 8:40 P. M.
